She has been involved in international community development work since 2005, developing Food for His Children as well as many personal and professional relationships in the Karatu, Tanzania community. As Executive Director of Food for His Children, Kerrie is able to apply each of her strengths of empathy, belief, connectedness, developer and responsibility to help the organization and the families it serves become all God created them to be. In all aspects of life, Kerrie is a connector and loves helping people reach their fullest potential. In Tanzania, millions of children live in extreme poverty, lacking access to proper nutrition, education, and medical care. Poverty leaves families vulnerable to human trafficking, early marriage, and a relentless cycle of hardship. Food for His Children (FFHC) partners with families to empower them to rise out of poverty. Through training, pastoral care, and microloans of dairy goats, FFHC helps families achieve their goals and create sustainable livelihoods. In 2024 alone, FFHC worked with 576 families across 40 sub-villages in Karatu District, Tanzania. Food for His Children
